How do I schedule Priority Payments for my client?
Priority Payments are currently available in beta for selected Remitian firms. This feature allows you to schedule time-sensitive payments.
Eligibility requirements
Before you can schedule a Priority Payment for a client, the following conditions must be met:
- Beta access: Your firm must be enabled for Priority Payments.
- Bank account connection: The client must have a bank account connected to Remitian via Plaid.
Important: Bank accounts that are added manually to Remitian are not eligible for Priority Payments. Only Plaid-connected accounts can be used.
If your client does not yet have a Plaid-connected bank account, they will need to connect one before a Priority Payment can be scheduled.
Scheduling a Priority Payment
Once the eligibility requirements are met, you can schedule a Priority Payment for your client using the same payment scheduling workflow available in the Remitian dashboard.
When scheduling a payment, you will be able to:
- Select the client and connected bank account
- Choose the payment amount
- Set a future payment date
- Confirm the payment method as Priority Payment, if your firm is enabled
- Review and submit the schedule for approval to your client
Scheduled Priority Payments will appear in the client’s payment activity for approval and can be tracked alongside other scheduled and completed payments.
