# Managing Verification Codes in Remitian

When creating your Remitian account, you’ll receive a verification code by email and SMS.

Please note that **the code is case sensitive** — this means **uppercase and lowercase letters must match exactly** as they appear in the email.

If the code isn’t accepted:

- Double-check that each character matches the email exactly.
- Copy and paste the code if possible to avoid mistakes.
- Request a new code if yours has expired.

The SMS code will always be a 6-digit code.
