Team Member Management in the Remitian Platform

This article outlines the steps to manage team member settings on the Remitian platform, including adding, editing, and deleting team members.

Key Steps

1. Access Team Management

  • From the homepage and dashboard of the Remitian platform, navigate to Team Management.
  • This section allows you to manage various settings related to team members.

2. Manage Team Members

  • In the Team Management section, you can:
    • Add a new team member.
    • Edit existing team member details.
    • Delete a team member from the platform.
    • Transfer clients owned by a team member.
    • Re-invite members if their invite has expired.

3. Add a New Team Member

  • To add a team member, fill in the following details:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Other required information.

4. Assign Role to Team Member

  • Select the appropriate role for the new team member:
    • Admin: Full access to all features.
    • Accountant: Access to everything except administrative settings, primarily client-focused.
    • Team Member: Can own clients and send approvals directly to clients.
    • Stakeholder: Requires visibility of the platform without interaction.

5. Set Client Access Permissions

  • Choose which clients the new team member will have access to by selecting the relevant team members.

6. Send Invite

  • After setting permissions, click Continue to send an invite to the new team member.
  • The invite status will be highlighted and will change to Accepted once the invite is accepted.

7. Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  • When adding a phone number during setup, two-factor authentication will be activated.
  • This requires the team member to input a six-digit code sent to their mobile device upon login.

 

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that the correct role is assigned to avoid unauthorized access to sensitive information.
  • Double-check the phone number entered for two-factor authentication to ensure it is accurate.

  • Regularly review team member roles and permissions to maintain security and efficiency.
  • Use the re-invite feature promptly to avoid delays in team member onboarding.
