Use this guide to: Create your state tax portal account, grant Remitian the access needed to file and pay taxes on your behalf and understand when additional authorization or POA documents are required.
Security note:
Never send usernames or passwords by email. If a state portal does not support delegated access, Remitian will provide a secure payment alternative.

Connect Your DC Tax Portal Account to Remitian
Overview
If your business files taxes in the District of Columbia, you must:
- Create a DC online tax portal account
- Authorize Remitian to access the account
Before You Start
Have these ready:
- FEIN or SSN
- Legal business name
- State tax account numbers
- Recent state notice or letter, if requested
Important Security Information
Do not share your portal password with Remitian.
Remitian will provide:
- The exact username or email to authorize
- A secure authorization process
- Alternative payment options if needed

Create Your Georgia Tax Center (GTC) Account
Overview
Georgia requires businesses to create a Georgia Tax Center account before Remitian can process filings or payments.
Authorization is not required after setup.

- Bank account details if setting up ACH debit
